Hi all,

I won TorontoPets.net here in Auction for $3.

I'm into rapid minisite/full site development, and I got this site deployed in just under 3 hours.

I know it looks basic, and it is. It's there to server a purpose of getting hundreds of pages listed in Google, and hopefully making my $3 investment back in a fairly short time.

The site is located at: www.torontopets.net

The links and pages have potential, I just need to add more to them.

Ideas? Suggestions? Comments?

Thanks,
Dave

Yes, Extremely BASIC.
Needs to have some Actual Front Page content Not just a MEGA list of Links.

Leave the Rapid Minisite Development to the EXPERTS (I do them in 30minutes). Take your time and add some Quality content and focus to the site.

1/ PRIVACY POLICY!!!! How many time must people need to be reminded of the need for a Google Compliant privacy policy. Link to -->>> online generator http://serprank.com/privacy-policy-generator/index.php

2/ More Real Content. Pictures, Articles, Format the link lists.

3/ Re-read Google Adsense TOS regarding MFA (Made For Adsense) sites.

Thanks for the advice, I'm adding a Privacy Policy as we speak.

As far as minisite "Experts", I just check out your sites. Anyone can build a site in 30 minutes with Artisteer and Joomla.

I code all of my websites from scratch, and utilize APIs for content.

I can see where adding pet adoption articles would fit real nice.

Thanks for your input.

Isn't that too much link in your homepage? It might be considered spam by Google.

One of my best sites is also one of my ugliest... I like what you've done so far, get something up, give the engines a chance to find you, and go from there.

For three bucks, you've done very well.

I might put in a 'resources' page, and an 'articles' page. The resources page could have a commissionable affiliate link to a merchant with a few paragraphs about why the merchant is relevant to your site.

Good job so far!

@RogueWriter

Thanks for your comments. My first step is to always get something up and running and indexed in Google. The bells and whistles, and other marketing and affiliates to come after the traffic.

Thanks for your input!

A backend is a backend is a backend is a backend.

As far as your frontend, it does have potential but most sites that run off an API (without other content or mashups) drop quickly in rank. Therefore you have a small window to expand on this (a month, maybe two) before losing whatever rank you gain.
