Your website looks ok, I would have chosen a different color scheme but just personal.
a few pointers:
On your landing page, you stated that you are pursuing some sort of Microsoft certificate, I would definately remove this from your web site. First of all, people who know the business, don't give a hoot about a MS certificate. Second, it implies you're limiting yourself to a certain toolset (ofcourse this doesn't have to be true, but you might give that impression which is not what you want). I know of cases where situations similar to this caused a firm to loose clients, so be carefull!
Second, I would also get rid of "My Music" and "My Film", since you're selling web design and not music and/or films. If you're using this to profile yourself as a creative person, put it in your cv or place a link somewhere on your page to another web site.
Third, when a developed web site is taken offline, I would either remove it from my portfolio or take away the launch date. There is no need to let potential customers know that a website developed by you has been taken offline. Also, if you decide to keep it in your portfolio, I would place the whole web site somewhere in your portfolio site, not just the pictures. This way there is no way to look at the source code.
Furthermore, you portfolio needs more web sites but you probably realize that yourself as well.
I hope my advice will be useful to you, best of luck with your business!
[EDIT]
Sorry, forgot to mention that the navigation of the site at
http://www.achnabobane.co.uk/ looks off. I am browsing with Safari so I don't know it's a big issue, it looks ok on FF, Safari and Netscape. The yellow text above the menu is placed over the menu.
