Is it worth picking up people names, ie: joeschmoe.com for resell? If name is popular, but not a celeb, what are they worth in general?

oh, and .edu names, are they resellable or do you have to be a school to register one in the first place?

I dont see alot of namesurname.com domains, and I dont see any big money in it either.

i think for .edu you have to be an instutuition or somewhat along that lines and have to prove that you are. Isn't that right?
