PayPal Alternative?

With all the latest hipe regarding paypal on several forums, should we be concerned about paypal. If so, should we seek alternatives?

If we need alternatives then who?

I have looked a most of the ones that I am aware of and the unfortunate thing is that I am not convinced with any alternative.

This in my opinion is a big deal.

Please, lets discuss this in detail as I know this is on the minds of many people.

I'll post back if I ever do face problems, but as of now, I've never had any issues with PayPal. Let's see how things turn out in the future.

I couldn't agree more with what activeco said. It's true a lot of people are using paypal and haven't had any kind of problems, but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't have any in the future. I'm not saying I want them to have problems, I just think that everyone should be careful when dealing with paypal, not keep to much money in their account, don't click any links and stuff like that. One should look out for his own interest, because paypal sure isn't going to. They just don't care if they win or lose a customer or two. It's some sort of superiority complex when you think you're too good to care for the "little people". It's quite sad actually.
