Parking revenue

Hi, I am a newbie to domaining and have a question about an average parking revenue. Sorry if this is a dumb question

For example, if I have a dot com domain with 1000 exact keyword search (high competition) and CPC of 3 usd, what parking revenue should i expect?

Is it possible to predict the number of clicks a domain would get, before actually registering it, based on a keyword search?

@johsnow its impossible to tell how traffic gets using the keyword search tool, unless you register the domain. You can only make educated guesses or assumptions.

Hi, I know its an old thread but I want to share my experience. Im using sedo for parking. IT depends of where "viewers" will click. Some ads worth more. I have a killer name that recived 13k views a month and another about 3k. The ratio off earning vs views with the killer name is way less than the other. Both haven't good cpc. The key is to have a domain that will make users click on ads.

One is a online streaming website "typo" that I registered 1 year before the other website when out! I guess my domain is better haha. Im usig the 2 click method beacause it shows "categories" so they click once then they click on a ads.

With the second one I use 1 click beacause the name has lots of backlinks redirecting to it so viewers click on a link they found (my domain) then they try to click the ads that they are looking for.

Tip one, get a good name.
Tip two, choose the right category for parking
tip 3, choose the best template and type of ads.

You can check the alexa rank, if it has some rank there is a good chance it has some traffic
