Hi I'm new to buying dropped domains and I have bought like 30 sofar through snapnames and clubdrop. Right now my mailbox is filled with the emails with login info to the different registrars that they are regged with. I would like some tips on how to make things organized. I think this will be a big mess if i don't start doing something. should i transfer them to the same registrar or keep then at all these different locations and so on?

thank you :)

I have the same problem - there are some programs you can download to manage all your domains in one place, but you have to pay for them. Hopefully it's only a matter of time before a decent one becomes available for free!

Digitalpoint.com has a free domain organizer/domain lookup software. Only problem is I never got it to work. Try it and let me know if you succeed.

Please note I'm not advertising digitalpoint.com I'm not affiliated. They just have some nice tools, and it's a great site for domains and SEO.

Each time I buy a name I put a note in my diary 62 days later and then transfer them out. For the first 60 days the domains often can't be transferred.

The only way to deal with lots of domains is use a single or a couple of registrars, then it become a whole lot easier. Because each registar has different ways of working and different interfaces it quickly becomes a nightmare keeping on top of everything.

I use an excel sheet, although it is a pain to keep it updated. You may also want to invest in DRT--a useful tool to manage your portfolio.

If you're selling through SEDO, you can import your domains list as an Excel worksheet

domaintools.com has a free program, although I'm not too fond of it.
