.org backorders, any options?

When it comes to .org backorders, is there any (low cost) option other than snapnames/affiliates and do-it-yourself? Namewinners doesn't list the name so I don't know if they handle .org properly.

ExpireFish seems to have .org, are they any good (are they enom? or an independent?)

Also is the delete cycle for .org similar to .com?
The name I am looking at is in pending delete and trying to calculate the day...

At namewinner you can view the domain via "All".

Pool, SnapNames, thefirstname also all catch .org's.

Namewinner definitely doesn't have it listed, and the name is in pending delete status.
So I don't know what's up with their system.

I recommend thefirstname.com which is very good at grabbing .org.
Also pool.com seems to be good at .org too.

Namewinner is useless for catching .org's. Org drops seems to be dominated by Snapnames and Pool.

So trying to snap a 2 character .org would be futile?

I tried to get fs.org last year with expirefish...they must of tried regging it 50+ times if I remember it kept on failing the code was "invalid nameservers?" I think now it shows at PIR as Name is reserved by Registry_Policy

did a little research expirefish tried to reg fs.org for me HUNDREDS of times from 3-16 until 5-22! After PIR took over they kind of froze .org deletions for a while ..this one fell into their Name is reserved by Registry_Policy when they did release them


1st...........fs.org 1 2003-03-16 Invalid Nameservers FAILED $0.00
Last.........fs.org 1 2003-05-22 Invalid Nameservers FAILED $0.00

expirefish was very good for catching .org.

they caught me sneak.org, indochina.org and several other names that had snaps on them at the time.
