So, don't forget that the .info free extension sale ends in 3 days. Dotster is a good source of getting the free .info's in a set of 25 (Max you as an individual can get for free).
This doesn't mean all .info's are worth something, but if you find a great name that is undeveloped clear down the line, and are either looking to develop it or sell it, it should comfort you and your potential buyer to know that they don't have to worry about protecting their brand name with all the tld's, it's already been done.
My .02, raises any apparaisal by at least 50% (Not a doubling, but raising by 50% of O.V.)
