the (.gg) domain extension has widespread adoption within the gaming community. ".GG" which stands for "Good Game" is frequently used to for eSports teams and gaming startups in particular.

Here are a few sales on Park.io last month (October 2019).
Hero.gg - $2,134
Mobile.gg - $401
Reflex.gg $104
Doom.gg $130
Cloud.gg $1,020
Dating.gg $385

I expect as the gaming industry continues to mature and more startups emerge, we'll see some decent end-user sales in the .gg domain extension.

Earlier this year Bet.gg sold for $8,503, and Super.gg was sold for $7,500 at the end of last year.

I expect there have been more private sales to end-users but that's just speculation.

Do you own any .gg domains? Showcase and discuss .GG in this thread.

I needed an esports play. So I acquired Sportsbook/gg.

This is one of the reasons I have been moving away from DAN - Can't even counter the bloody offer! Also have they changed the format, I can't seem to be able to write a proposal to justify my pricing (if it let me counter that is)

I am able to counter just fine. If you already declined the offer then I don't think you can.

Hadn't done anything, just let the offer sit there....

I don't like .gg

In some country GG means Game Over. It is not universal "Good Game". GG had other meaning pre-dates online gaming.

With online games "gg" means good game, there are other meanings predating it as there are for many other acronyms but in any gaming chat it is what it is.....

You don't have to have to like it, as long as potential clients/customers do that's what counts imo.....

Fair.. With all the recent adoption, it's worth a punt while so many are available to reg.

Don't renew in 12 months and lose $200? Worth it IMO.

$50 renewal for these is pretty steep, especially given end user prices, what do you guys think?

Agreed, fairly steep but it seems end-user adoption is only just starting.

Renewals for .io were close to $40/$50 for a long time.

For now it's double the holding cost of .io/.co but roughly the same as .ai

GG in almost every gaming community means Good Game...which is what you say at the end of a game...win or lose doesn't matter what country you come from it's pretty much a universal gamer term.
