I am selling this for a high price. $10k+.. i dont know.. dont want to cut the limit of what I can get. id like to get expert advice. i also dont want to be unrealistic. i dont know what domains go for these days in the economy.
Heres why I think it has high potential:
OC stands for 118 different things
Main one is Orange County.
Orange County, California is per capita one of the wealthiest places in the USA. It's not THE wealthiest but it ranks up there. There are 7-13million dollar homes in Laguna Beach, etc.
And you are an OC PRO, an Orange County Professional. If you appear as [email protected] you are the MAN in orange county. this name is just so nice. It's also ten years old (created April 7th 1999) there for you get high rankings (Domain age is one of the factors calculated by google in determining your rank).
There is also an Orange County Texas, an OC Florida, an OC New Jersey and New York
Aside from Orange County, OC can mean 118 different things according to an acronym search on google. Things like Online Certifications, Ontario Canada, Optical Carrier, etc.
This is a highly brandable domain name. NameBoy.com said its worth $5440 but thats not even considering the fact that it has RICH ORANGE COUNTY in the name. What do you guys think? Is it right to charge a premium because of the orange county being in the name?
I have a for sale page at http://www.ocpro.com - is that good enough? I also have it on ebay and I'm trying to increase traffic. I submitted it to 27 different search engines.
My problem is locating a buyer! Im doing my best to target orange county but I'm not finding someone. Any suggestions?
I know it has to be worth a good amount because check this stupid site out, they sell retarded meaningless 5 letter names for prices ranging between $999-3999:
http://www.brandbucket.com/category/5-letter-domains/
OCPRO is way more brandable than those BS names...
Also, there is already taken: ocpro.net, ocpro.org, ocpro.awhole bunch of other tld's... oc-pro.com is taken, theocpro.com is taken , ocpros.com is taken.. people like this name and want it.. did i get lucky when i snagged this one on namejet? Will I finally get a vehicle?
