Anyone into Nightlife Website? I planning on have a Nightlife Site done. Any Advise from the Pros will be gladly appreciated.
What are the rules in regulation for running an ECommerce site (Nightlife)?
I’m planning on selling Advertisement space to nightclub and Promoters.
Do I need register w/city hall for a tax ID?

You'll need to check with your local city hall and ask them if you need to register with them for what you're wanting to do because the laws are different in different areas. You should be able to find out all your options there.

But I would say you probably do need to atleast get a business license. As for the tax id number, that depends on what type of business and your local laws and such.

For an e-commerce web site - it all depends. What exactly are you selling - is it just advertsing space or more? I would recommend a merchant account. If you are afraid for some reason that it might not take off - you can start with PayPal - but open up a separate checking account so they can deposit that money into & then you move the money into another account.

Once you start bringing about $1000 - get your own merchant account. A true merchant account will ask you for a Federal Tax ID number. You can apply for one online: http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/article/0,,id=98350,00.html
