I have a bunch: New-York.link + N-Y.link.

Generally I'm no fan of the new TLDs but .LINK is one of the few exceptions. I'm aware a hypen in the domain makes it less valuable for resellers. Still it is good for SEO and easy to remember.

The domain was sold by North Sound Names, which is tied to the registry itself. They own over 25,000 .LINK domains. 1 sale in 25,000+ is an outlier.

Because you are probably comparing apples to oranges. But Crucial.link is still a bad domain, yet some flukes will always happen, in any TLD.
The odds that you are going to score a sale like this one are extremely slim, if not nil.

A single sale != a market.
