Need help with Flash

Hi Everyone,

I have interested in flash and will like to be a professional in flash and be able to create professional flash animations. But the problem is, i do not know here to start from. Can some please help advice me where i can start from. I think i have the latest flash software which is Macromedia Flash MX 2004.

I will very much appreciate if you guys can help me post links to sites where i can learn to be a flash professional easily or anywhere i can easily learn flash.

I am also learning Flash as part of my HND Multimedia module at the moment.

I back up saad's suggestion www.cartoonsmart.com is what i used and i thought it was great. Try the free tutorials and you'll want to buy the others.

im just looking at this cartoon smart site in awe. Im really thinkin about buying. Ive sene the "authorized" flash training that macromedia directs you to, but 1g is a little too much for me. This is great. Does anyone know how the tutorials work? SWF files giving directions, or like 1 page of text?
