If someone has a domain listed for sale on Sedo and its listed as getting 15,000 uniques a month, is there any way to tell if that traffic will make revenue for me if I buy the domain? The domain is a fairly popular keyword with another short term after it that seems to fit well.

For Example Only: Jewelry24-7.com gets 15,000 hits per month on Sedo. When I visit Jewelry24-7.com, instead of seeing ad links for "jewelry", I see German ad links for "diese ions seite ist für Fruen" and "di nu weitor kammen wellin" (I made these words up).

If I bought the domain could I just change the keywords from "diese ions seite ist für Fruen" and "di nu weitor kammen wellin" to "jewelry" and automatically make a ton of money? Also, is there any way that this traffic could be faked or worthless?

There's always "purchased traffic" in this world. You can try looking up some history for the domain from alexa, archive.org and some linkpops. If it used to be a huge established website with high amt of alexa rating and linkpops, the traffic should have no problem. But if none tallies and yet the traffic is said to be very high, it is rather doubtful and you might wanna ask the owner where the traffic is coming from. Contacts can be found through the whois. Hope this helps. :)
