NBA Finals: Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks

A heroic performance by Dwyane Wade left the Miami Heat's season hanging in the precarious balance of Gary Payton making a shot and Dirk Nowitzki missing one.

Heat rallied from 13 down in the fourth. Did not see it, but it seemed like a really good one. I really want the Heat to win!

Call me old school, and I'm by far not the biggest basketball fan out there but no one today can touch MJ in his prime. There are some very talented players out there including Wade, but they're no MJ.

As for the series, Go Mavs!

You can't compare him either. Jordan has numerous titles 6 (three and three after he came back), numerous MVP's,. Not to mention he also came back into the league and was stronger, won three more titles. When Wade can prove he can accomplish that, then you can talk.

Well, I am from the midwest...milwaukee actually. It is awesome to see a player who went to college here have as much success as he is having. (and yeah, I own a pair of 'Converse Wade' shoes)

Anyway, yes, I agree with you, D. Wade has to win alot more championships to prove himself. However, my point is simple. I think he has the skills MJ had and there is factual evidenve and proof that shows he did things MJ or any other player for that matter, has never done. The guy is 24 and his team just won a championship that it would not have won without him.

Moreover, Statistically, If Wade keeps doing as well as he is doing right now, will his stats, glory, etc... be better then MJ's? Yes, it could be.

But you're definitley right about the fact that he still has a lot to do. This does not mean comparisions are not valid though, they are, because he is that good.

I agree with this 100%. Only thing I do not like about Payton is the way he went about it. Jumping to the bucks, so he could go to the lakers, some other teams (I think!?).

dwayne wade is good, but is still don't think he is as good as Dirk or Terry personally, i love dallas was hping they would win, wade did an excellent job in the finals he carried the heat on his back, and i think Dirk and Terry just could not find a solid rthym the last few games. always next year i guess

Yep, exactly my point. If D.Wade was on milwaukee or portland, milwaukee or portland would have been in the finals.
