I don't know exactly what kind of trouble .name is having, but I believe it'll still maintain its extension. I also heard that if your name was more geared towards commercial you may lose it, but I don't believe it for a second. I was just testing the market and saw a few names sell on NameBio in the xxx's to low x,xxx's.

Yes. Just a few. Exceptions can be found for nearly any extension. But I'm afraid there is no real market for .name :red:
