Hi guys I bought this turnkey site about 10 days ago. I have cleaned it up and sorted the advertising out. There are 10 turnkey scripts for sale on the site but I have at least another ten to add. The site virtually runs itself with a Paypal & Stormpay payment system. Has a admin panel to add new scripts , banners etc and set prices.

Visitors - In one week it is recieving around 150 uniques daily set to rise. Stats
Earnings - In the last 5 days it has sold 4 scripts total $140 - Sales

I have only just added adsense so no news yet on that. I have not added any banners yet.

Type in 'real estate script' in Google and you will get hotscripts at no1 click on here will take you straight to one of my scripts 'Class A'

Do the same with 'auction script' and we are on the first page agian thru hotscripts

This site could quite comfortably carry on up the earnings ladder using the advertising methods I have put in place. I have not implimented any adwords at all yet. More work on the marketing could make this site a very good earner.

Reason for sale - I was negotiating another sale which fell thru but after buying this the other one got offered to me again. The other one is design orientated which is more my forte than scripting. Quite simply I need the dosh.

Hello VG the advertising costs are between $8 - $16 week max. If you invested a little more then almost certainly the results would be in proportion.
I am about to add more new scripts to the site.

No it's the version in the second link that I posted. I have it installed on one of my domains and it is exactly like the one on your site. If it's not the same then it's a 100% clone of it.

Just to double check I even looked at the source of your admin panel and the source of the GPL version I have installed. It's the same right down to the comment tags...

Image names are the same, form names are the same...

There's many more similarities but there's no point listing them all. It's the same script.

What are you talking about? The site sells scripts and atleast one of those is a GPL script which you are not allowed to resell.

Ok thanks for pointing that out - I wasn't aware but it makes no difference as its open source anyway and I have done some work on it. Still not sure though if its the same. A bit like comparing Web templates - almost everything is a copy of something. But theres no point in making a whole thread about it unless you are interested.

Yea... this is the exact reason why i dont deal with GPL php scripts. I made the scripts "FREE" not something people can go around and sell. Exactly why i charge for my php scripts.

To the OP.

Its seems you are allowed to resell GPL software according to there FAQ (http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLCommercially). I think it's still questionable myself but that's just my opinion and speaking as a programmer. I know how much time and effort goes into writing these programs.

These scripts are actually those of prozilla. Even the ones they are selling and the site they are selling from are prozilla scripts.

Unless I am mistaken, no resell rights come with scripts unless they have a membership with prozilla and sell a domain with the script.

Sorry but I feel that you luxinterior have tried to do enough damage with your absolute lack of knowledge and evidence. These scripts are Prozilla with full resell rights. As I said I purchased this sight legally and above board 10 days ago from another member.
I would think that you should re-evaluate before you open your mouth and in future please take care when you do.

Just a request to the moderator to please remove this nonsense that has hijacked my perfectly above board thread.

Prozilla does not offer full resale rights. Are you yourself a member of prozilla?

It was a legitimate question, to determine if you really had any resale rights in the sites. I would not want to bid till I am sure I am guesing based on your response you do not.

The plan fact is, you have most likely not legitmately bought the site in a way that lets you run it as is. Just like if I `bought' a bridge from the man under it, who really did not own it, then resold it I would still be legal wrong to sell it when I did not have a legitimate clear title. I suggest if you are not a member of prozilla and you bought this site 10 days ago as you said, you persue getting a refund as it seems you did not buy what you think you did.

At some point if what we are suspecting is true, then your buyer will have a legitimate right to be very upset with you and issue a chargeback.

Lack of knowledge and evidence ?

Ok, lets take a look at the prozilla user agreement.

1) You must be an active Prozilla member in good standing to resell our eBusiness products.

3) All websites must be sold with a unique domain name assigned to EACH website you sell. Sites must be fully developed with a domain name and hosting prior to being sold on auction sites such as Ebay. Sites may not be sold in dutch auction. Exisiting domains do not qualify:

a) Websites offering turnkey websites must sell a NEW domain with the website, or offer a website for salethat has been pre-developed with an exisiting domain.

b) Ebay and other auction websites must sell te website PRE-DEVELOPED with a registered domain name. Auctions may not be posted where a buyer chooses or provides a domain.

4) Sites may only be sold in advance undeveloped online only through your own website where a customer is allowed to choose a business/design and domain name and complete a check out. The domain for the site must be registered before the site is delivered to your customer.

5) Site products/scripts exclusive to Prozilla do not come with stand alone resale rights and may not be sold outside of websites in any way which included templates, packages or free or "bonus" items.

You also stated on another forum that you have worked on them and fixed/modified them, but they have the same faults as the prozilla scripts.

I used to work for them, so I think I know what I am talking about.

It sounds like you were sold this under false pretences, so you should get a refund and should not sell on, as the new owner will only run into the same problems with prozilla themselves.
