I think it takes a bit too long for what it is, and it's not very interesting to see rectangles being drawn with a cursor. The other sections being brought in by the cursor is ok though, it's speedy and effective.

But there's one major problem that really defeats the purpose of that kind of intro; the page completely reloads afterwards. I don't think I need to explain why that's a problem, but hopefully you'll fix it.
