I just bouht my first domain kitchenandall.com
I would be very grateful for every comment as to what kind of purchase I made. I listed it at afternic.com and min.price is 250$ is there a way to list at smaller price.

Any advice on afternic? why did the put such high minimum value? I wouldn't mind selling it for $250 but it is more likely that buyers (if any) would not even bother to contact me

Your domain is better than 75% of domains bought and posted here by newbies. So, it's not premium, but I can say it's a good domain.
I don't think you will sell it for $250, too much to explain. But you can try listing it on sedo, godaddy, ebay(if you want to sell it fast but cheap).

Your comments are better than I expected!
My idea was forums, compare products pages, forums about kitchen..I watched my boss for a year putting together her kitchen-hence the idea.
I don't think it is worth $250 but afternic doesn't offer option without that price (or did I mess up something??possible)
I also found country/service.com available. it has more than 2600 exact hits on adsense keywords. Should I buy it? It's a bargain price

Depends on what country and what service.

As for forums, they are notoriously hard to monetize, although it's not impossible.

You can list your domains in the For Sale forums. Make sure you use the correct forum for your listing, ie, Fixed Price, Make Offer, Auction, etc.

I am thinking about parking my domain. since I've listed my domain on sedo do I have to park it there?
how does that work, how long does it take(for parked domain to start generating anything)?
Does that help in getting traffic on domain so that I increase questionable value of my domain?

Zrinka, the time taken for your domain to start generating revenues depends on how premium your domain is. Does it have keywords that people are likely to look for. The stats (2600 exact matches) you've shared are minuscule and the PPC payouts in this category are also not very high.

Your domain kitchenandall.com will not get much of a direct/ type-in traffic. Though you expect some traffic from Google organic search. All the best
