MoreMap.com logo contest $25

I need a logo made for www.moremap.com -- it must fit the color scheme seen on the site as well as carry the slogan "More then Just a Map" the winner will be recieving $25 via paypal. This contest will end after sylense enters Just kidding-- When a top entry is seen I will end the contest.. :lol: Namepros is getting some seriously good designers nowadays. And for all the people who aren't going to enter - I'd encourage you to do the opposite and enter the contest.

I only got as good as people say I am from constantly practicing and entering contests where people are better designers than you and it makes you step up your game and became an all-round better designer.

Just a thought ... anyway, good luck to all competitors and nice entry James :D

Good advice Will, entering your work, even if your new, will teach you what works and what doesn't, not to mention you get to see what other designers are doing for the same project. You get to compare and contrast, altho you must be open to critisim, you wont learn any other way.

Good attempt, I think that the blue is way to bright and draws attention away from the focus (title/logo/slogan). Try to stick with what colors are already present in the layout if you are doing an adaption. - This is just my 2 cents tho.

Nice, try playing around with some decoration relating to maps and what not - this is where the creativity realy gets into it, also overhaling that globe might help too, that shadow around it applys to the bottom as well, kinda messes up the illusion of it dropping off into the banner.
