All I hear here is "dot Mobey" ... if more than one actal human individual even comprehends the message of this commercial, it would be a miracle in my estimation.

Surely, mTLD must be doing more ... to support the extension?

A 10-year old - trust me - would opt for a super COOL, full & rich web experience ... which can only be found on the respective .COM mobile websites, IMHO. B-) :talk:

Also, on the topic of the "commercial" ... as I posted recently on the mTLD blog:
I agree with Michael ... the NEW "bestsites" was just recently updated, IMHO. And, no less than sixteen (16) of your twenty-four listed favorite .MOBI "sites" are (again) simple redirects to .COM's (with another three still having the .COM logo atop the .MOBI "site")!
Why are they not fully developing and promoting their own stand-alone .MOBI websites?

Glad to know how it really worked, you "opted" out and in while mobi enthusiasts were summarily banned.

It's hilarious Jeff how you try to spin any good news for .mobi into something negative. It's obvious nothing has nor ever will change in your mind, you obviously are incapable of acknowledging anything positive for .mobi.

I was not banned.

:hi:

For quick clarification, I opted out of the #1 Namepros .MOBI Forumโ„ข at the time due to time restrictions and other projects, and as RJ posted specifically here on the matter at the time ... and now that I no longer have these time restrictions, I am able to once again post in these lively, balanced ".MOBI" discussions - opting to do so and to spend my time voluntarily to best be of professional assistance in the sharing of opinions, IMHO.

Let's discuss the posted and relevant TOPICS that are here in a polite, professional manner! :talk:
PS. I also post occassionally at the mTLD Blogยฉ (as quoted above), as well. :gl:

Thank you.

apparently, it was a mutual agreement between RJ and Jeff.... but not with the few other members that were placed on the "no mobi usergroup"... they should probably be unblocked now too whoever they are... if they're still around.

Unless whomever may have (repeatedly) broken other Forumโ„ข rules, or even worse situations to which we may not be aware ... I think anyone that has an interest in the ".MOBI" should be allowed to share their thoughts and opinions in here - afterall, #1 Nameprosโ„ข was founded on the ideals of actively sharing and discussing in a caring and professional manner! :talk: :imho:
Surely, we can survive our differences ... in fact, I continue to give huge KUDOS to those fellow members that are taking active measures to develop stand-alone .MOBI's! :music:

Ok then, if you don't own any .mobi's and have noted (more than once here) that "you don't like .mobi, ...it isn't needed, ...you hope it fails", you mock the spelling of it (and those that invest in it), and you purposely deride it in your signature!, what is your interest other than to repeatedly asking the same questions, and making the same condesending remarks, over and over and over?? You don't ever contribute nothing positive to the conversations just negative beratings and redundant questions. To any and everyone else here, it is just deceptive flaming in the guise of 'wanting to know and caring for others needs of knowledge' ( as if they can't ask/inquire for themselves!).

According to the .mobi blog, it looks like this commercial will be playing in 43 airports throughout March. If I was sitting in an airport with a web enabled phone and saw this commercial I would probably check it out.

I'd be interested in the actual interest level / traffic figures, etc. in a couple months time ... and I'll be in and out of airports throughout much of the rest of March (and April), so I'll keep my eyes peeled, as well. :gl:

I'm guessing weather.mobi and bestsites.mobi would see a decent increase increase or at least a measurable increase in traffic, I would love to see their traffic states from before after and during this ad campaign. Something like "interest level" is pretty hard to quanitify, where would you even go to look for something like that?

We are the same page with regard to the "traffic stats" for this campaign ... in "interest level", I guess that would be more subjective, admittedly, for instance - feedback from the respective companies, those using 'em, and authorities / obnservations / users at the respective airports, as well. :music:
