Hey

I want to add meta tags to my site but because I have it validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the meta tag isn't supported. Is there another way to add the meta tags keeping it XHTML 1.0 Transitional?

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
document.write('put your meta tag here');
-->
</script>
Not really the best way to do it, but it's an easy fix.

What meta tag(s) do you want to add?

<meta name=copyright content="">
<meta name=description content="">
<meta name=keywords content="">

Code:
<meta name="copyright" content="" \>
<meta name="description" content="" \>
<meta name="keywords" content="" \>
Put your content into those now and they should be valid. You need quotes around everything and everything must end (\>)

meta tags are supported... you need a / to close it... all XHTML tags must be closed

Yep you are missing the trailing slash. You can put any metatag in with that doctype.
