Contest End Date & Time: Tuesday May 25 @ 12:00 PM PST
Size Requirements: Around 200-250 pixels in height,fully scalable.
Color Requirements: It must go well with Pontiac flame red.

General Requirements: This site is about selling "HockeyRings" to hockey fans and must feature the text "HockeyRings.com" in a legible manner.It must be a very generic design and not infringe on any existing hockey related trademarks. Roughly equal space to each aspect of the design ie - "hockey" and finger "rings".

Additional Information: This logo will be used online, in print and as a vehicle graphic, please submit in appropriate file formats. I am sure your knowledge in this area is greater than mine.

My Concept

That's a good first attempt J-man.

Like: Font, action behind the puck.

Dislike: Hockey puck. Would prefer to see an actual ring and perhaps a hockey player or goalie. Colour of word "Rings" would disappear on my red car.

Please keep trying.

Just a suggestion - Font is good but perhaps too large. I'm really looking for a graphical representation of "HockeyRings" as a picture says a thousand words. The logo should instantly inform the viewer of what is for sale.

I like the concept.
I like the use of multiple colours.
I don't like the font.

One suggestion: Instead of having the hockey sticks as part of the ring, try a goalie or a hockey player on top of the ring. And please change the font.

That's not bad!

I dislike the font very much.
I very much like the prominence of the ring!
I like the colour of the word "rings" mirroring the gold of the ring. Good thinking.
If you were to replace "HR" with an image of a slapshotting hockey player or a goalie pose appearing to "come from" the ring I would be very impressed!!

Please post a revision when you are able.

The graphic element is far too small. I can barely make out what is in the ring. The font is better.

Two suggestions:
1. Move the ring so it is not in line with the text and enlarge it so it becomes the focus.
2.Add colour to the ring and improve the quality of the hockey player image.

This is looking better - though I still don't like the font. So far my favourite font is J-Man's from the first entry.

Can I see it with a hockey player, not a goalie? Please make as detailed as you are able.

This is for everyone who has participated - please make sure the "hockey player" or "goalie" stands out in some way. Perhaps projecting out of the ring, perhaps skating behind it, perhaps "slapshotting" the ring. Please be creative I leave the details to you.

I like this. Good entry. However I do need to see a ring.
This is exactly the level of detail I'm looking for on the hockey player though.
Not sold on the font, but I like the colour.
Would like to see one where the ring replaces the "O" in "Hockey".
