Let's create a Fund...

This Idea is for discussion purpose.

I am thinking of the possibility of creating a mini fund here..perhaps called NPFund - soley for NP Members. The Funds will be used to trade the Foreign Exchange market. For the last 24 months, I have developed a mechanical system which averages about 35% per month for 4 major currency pairs..namely Euro-Usd. Gbp-Usd, Usd-Chf and Usd-Jpy. I wouldn't mind doing a Mockup Fund initially to demonstrate the power of this trading system for a month. Hopefully after that and after tying up all the loose ends, we could accumulate $10,000 at least... Just like any fund, there will be a minimum amount to invest, say $50 or something. With a 1000 members, we have $50,000. Help in the accountin, adminsitering the Fund etc.....maybe the MODs here could do the job. I am just the Fund manager.
There are too much details to list here and I welcome a Q&A in this thread. Lets get the ball rolling with the questions....

- I assume you tested the system against historical prices. How far back did you go?
- What were your assumptions?
- Did you measure the level of risk in this system?
- What is your educational background, and work experience in forex trading?
- Are you a licensed forex trader?

Yes. We can all try... I will set up a Demo account with one of the Brokers and give you guys the password and login for the next 30 days and see where we go from there I wouldnt say I "made it". I would say I have optimized my system now to handle real money.

I attach the backtest for GBP-USD alone. This perhaps could answer some of your questions pertaining to Risks, rewards etc...BACKTEST RESULTS

I started as a Money-Broker for 2 International Money Broking Firms; Astleys& Pearce and Harlow Sassoons.. Went into Private fund management and recently set up an office in Jakarta, Indonesia. We have 4 Dealers there to monitor the Market 24 hours..
- Are you a licensed forex trader?
If there was a license for Forex, I wouild be the first to apply

Hi RJ, Lets say all the 'loose ends" have been tied up, you probably got to create a fund, say in paypal where only certain Mods have access to it. Not even me have access to the funds. Those interested can fund their $$ into it. You can set in terms units like 1 unit is $100 and so on and profits will be based % of their units they are holding...Certain Brokers in U.S (NFA-Registered) allows Paypal funding now. Every month or 3 months or whatever, your team will decide on how much net profit to withdraw and distribute after my management fees and your admin fees. this is just an idea. Of course you can discuss with the other Mods how best to do this...This is just a suggestion.

Hi redhippo...because I want everyone here to be extremely comfortable with this, I suggest waiting the next 30 days and observe the results of the mock account I have set up for NP. And then by pooling together, we can all take advantage of the leverage and rewards. I for one will also contribute to the NPFund.
