I had a WhatPulse account and it screwed up my computer, opened a hole for viruses and spyware to get in, took me weeks and months of rebooting to finally fix it...

Sabre, chances are it wasn't WhatPulse. It's a widely used program. And the weeks/months of rebooting sounds like a little over exaggeration to me. :p

It really was about 2 months, i rebooted about 20 times

And it was, as it labelled as the WhatPulse file having corrupted.....
