Just picked this one up for $30 which I think is a pretty good deal.
This is a real word, http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=irelander

which (as you might have guessed) means an irish person

I know the term "irish" is more popular, but it sounds like a good name for an Irish news-page or something like this

Site looks a bit stale and outdated ... but I like this one in this type of "End user" arena, though it's not as common (or a bit more of an antiquated) of a term. $175 - $222.50+, IMHO.

I have to agree with Stokie on this one.

Isn't the correct term Irish instead of Irelander? That's like saying Englander instead of English.

Englander.com not worth what English.com is that's for sure but wouldn't you want to have Englander as a cheap back-up? (New Englander, Northern Irelander).

It's not a Mercedes but it's not an Edsel either IMO.

Irelander is much more fancy-sounding and much more easily brandable than Englander IMO. Sounds like an Irish daily newspaper or something like that in my head, whilst Englander stops at sounding strange.

EXACTLY what I thought! An ideal name for an irish name! I just sold a name for quite a sum so i thought I would risk the $30 =)

I wouldn't be too jumpy about this domain. As a few said above, 'Irelander' isn't really a used word, and, living in Northern Ireland, I can clearly tell you that nobody uses that term here!

However, I personally think the name would be good for an Irish traveller doing the likes of freelance work.

All in all, I like it, and it's a good name.
