This is because apple is still trying to enforce the TM on iphone. Other companies used the name well before they did. I think at the moment apple has big fish to fry. As I understand it they are trying to get their paws on iPhone.com even though it was registered years before the apple iphone was even a brainfart. Has anyone even gone to www.iphone.com it is not even an apple site, nor is iphones.com, i-phone.com, i-phones.com, iphonegames.com. Pretty sure There are thousands of iphone names. As far as TM issues go, it can be very interesting when other companies have been using names you have tm'd. For example i actually sold iradiomusic.com to motorola- at the moment it looks like i sold it to motorola who has a tm on iradio, but there was a company opperating under iradio.com for years already, so i think they settled on my name.
