I like it. Actually I like TLD.TLD domains :p
The good part of .gg is that it can be easily typed and remembered, but the bad thing it is it's high renewal fee.
It will be hard to sell it for above reg fee IMO

He is including time wasted buying the domain and time spent attempting selling it.

It's possible to find a buyer over reg fee, but it's going to take a long time to make a profit.
