.io is more for the tech crowd. I doubt any DJ that wants to get booked by the general public would want this domain. First, 98% of the general population would have no idea what idj.io meant...they wouldn't think it was a website. Second, most DJ services use either a company or personal name to promote themselves, which would make more sense to use as a domain.
