I've had a few xx,xxx offers in the past month that I've turned down, what do you think?
77,625 linkpop, 68,600 of that from yahoo.
giving bls see http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=li...l=0&fr=FP-tab-web-t&vst=0&vs=www.iconrate.com
38,700 bls for aimsites just from iconrate

The site has over 600,000 pages most rewritten to pretty short descriptive urls. Site ranks well in yahoo and msn for example #2 for paris hilton on msn w/ 121,928 searches/day according to wordtracker.

please appraise based on site/domain as revenue fluctuates between $1000 and $9000/month. Thanks

edit: oh and the site's had consistently since february 2004 avg/higher 2000 uniques/day, this month being over 4000.

no but as I said I've made over $9000 in a month before and didn't think low xx,xxx would make sense at the time.

I don't think you'll get more the xx,xxx$, you should not have rejected them IMO! ;)

Best of luck!

Good name and it seems you've definetely moved out of the need for a wholesale, "name only" estimate. Based on low $xx,xxx offer and the actual monthly income, I would think Low-Mid $xx,xxx+ and you've got some deciding AND negotiating to do!
I would think calculating 1-2 years of income based on average past performance you've realized might be a good place for you to start. Selling: 1)get's you upfront money and 2)takes away your risk that the site may drop out of search results and you could loose visitors.

Best of Luck!

Thank you, this was probably the first time I received a positive comment about my site...ever. I do plan on developing at least until September, I should have saved up almost $25,000 from the site by then and can move far away :) I doubt I'll ever get 1-2 years income for the site, but I imagine by then whatever I get will just be a little extra for my trip. Also by then I'd hope at least half of the 600,000 pages would be G indexed.

I plan on it. It wasn't a company, I had listed it on a sites for sale page and had actually about 20 offers at the 10k sale price. I decided I'd turn them down though... Hopefully I can do better in a few months. :)
