Less than 2 months old, excellent domain name, movie's coming up in 2006 - "Ice Age Two: The Meltdown" you can't have a name better than this! I will include all the contents, but NO HOSTING. TM issues are not an option - it's a fan site promoting their movie, they wouldn't want you to close it or take the name from you, and I haven't been contacted about it even once. Great .com name + content, gets little traffic, 1-2 uniques a day (not me ) - great for ads or afiliate programs.

I spoke with my legal guy and he said that you actually do have a legal issue here.

This is an obvious variation of their name and if they want they can take it away from you. Just because they haven't doesn't mean they won't when the time comes to launch the movie and this site is ranked number 1 or 2 for "ice age 2" in the SEs.

So sorry I'll pass on this one.

OK, this is going nowhere, admin or mod please close this thread ASAP so I can start a new one, fresh. I don't want to argue anymore, I just want to sell this thing off, if I can't I'll just wait until Spring of 2006 to sell it for mid $x,xxx when the movie is actively advertised on TV and gets a lot of traffic.

rutopia....Trader rating shows this is the 3rd instance of George backing out of a deal...Trader Ratings are there for a reason...Rip off may not be the right term but I think vip-ip's concern is warranted.....

GeorgeB should've talked with his 'legal guy' beforehand.. common sense....

It's obvious that there is a high chance of TM issues, but GeorgeB proceeded to bid on the site, now he backs out because he talked to his 'legal guy' after the sale.. that's just dumb!

What gives you the right to tell someone to get a life?
