No that is not it, .us are just not bring that much now, but I would hold on to it.

.us is growing in popularity. I believe that more companies in the USA will start using .us in the future after they realize that there are no more good .com's for their company. Hold on to it I believe it will have some value down the road. Right now I would say reg fee cause of the number.
