Hi all,
there's something i really can't undestand.
I was interested in a .info domain so i checked the whois hoping to find an email to write to.
But the domain is in this situation:

Status: DELETE PROHIBITED, RENEW PROHIBITED, TRANSFER PROHIBITED, UPDATE PROHIBITED

Expiration Date: 2007-07-30 00:49:14
Creation Date: 2001-07-30 00:49:14
Last Update Date: 2003-12-08 00:38:29

It's expired in 2007 and every action suspended, first time i find this.
Can someone explain me why?
Thank you very much,
Regards,
Alessandro.

I didn't notice the previous posts but I remember the dropping super premium .info domains last year. I imagine one of them.

Based on what donnied79 posted here, I was able to find out the domain he's talking about.

I can confirm it's really a great domain, totally fits the extension, extremely generic and the .com version worth several millions.

edit: weblord posted it already.

weblord, I think you should consider donnied79 intention of not posting the domain even if it was easy to find.

Yes, thanks, i knew it's very easy to find but at this point i'm moving on. BTW I still can't understand why it's in that status

i guess the best for me, is ask the registrant that's published on it's domain whois and/or ask the owner of hosting company where it's currently hosted.

I'll make a try. Thank you very much.

You were already given two possible answers:

-Adam- said:
The name was probably used for illegal/spamming purposes.

It might be held by the registry (Afilias) .. they done it with lots of quality .info domains.
Another possible answer is it's in the midst of a civil dispute. Afilias keeps list
somewhere, or you can try searching for any court action on it.

It's Possible

It appears the registrant of the domain has had a lawsuit against affilias over their failure to unlock his .info domains. PM'd the case to the OP.
