How long should I keep Redirects in my .htaccess file? For example. Is it safe to now remove all my redirects from 2007?

it all depends whether or not people are still going to (or linking to) the old urls. chances are there will still be a link or two still there and so i would just leave any old redirects there.

however, if they're really becoming that much of an eyesore, be sure to redirect would-be 404s to your homepage. :tu:
