How much traffic to start making money?

I just wondered how may daily visits to a website does it take before it's worth considering adverts, etc?

Would you need 200 visits, 2,000, 20,000???

Making money will depend on what kind of traffic you have. The more targeted traffic your site has, the more possibilities you earn from it. You can opt as a PPC publisher via XML/JS feeds. Or if your site has high PR, you may opt also at selling links

You should be alright getting into Adsense with that traffic.

You can definitely start to monetize your site at this stage but it does depend on your niche to how successful you will be.

A good method is writing product reviews on your site and linking to the products with affiliate links. (sign up to commission junction).

Also create some link bait articles (a unique, catchy and well written article) and tell other blogs within your niche about the article your wrote - quite often they'll link to it.

I've being linked from massive sites in the technorati top 100 by doing this.

A couple of my finance pages get me about $5 a day from Adsense with about 500 daily visits. So my guess is you should start it.

Well I think since your website is focused on the specific area, you may try to apply some affiliate network but not adsense or other PPC advertisement. I thinks some of the advertise related with furniture etc will be interested in your website. Please feel free to PM me you have more questions.

You need to have 10000 visits to get atleast 30$

this is calculations based on adsense.There are few reatures related to this calculations.If you have site with low paying keywords the rate is between $.01 to$.30.Ok so if your CTR is about 1% to 5% then you get around 100 to 500 clicks for 10000 visitors.Ok so just calculate with the earnings.Also try to make site with god keywords.so that you will be getting nice profit even there is low number of clicks.
