How many .Com's?

Just curious, does anyone know how many dot com websites are currently online? Is there any way to tell?

Thought it would be neat to see a comparison to how many sites are online useing the top 5 extensions.

A search of google like:

site:.ext (no spaces)

Will give you a list of sites in the ext indexed by 'em.

Check it out in action,

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:.com&btnG=Google+Search

There may be more accurate methods out there, not sure.

Allan, just what I was looking for thanks. I knew com was king just wanted to see a comparison. I wonder if mobi will ever creep into that picture in the coming years.
