How do you view window error logs?

how do you view window error logs? xp it is.. Some werid reason when i got up i had a bunch of error and could not turn off the computer..

i dont know, you might want to scan for spyware :P i just did, i had around 100

click control pannel
click classic view (if not already in it) classic view is all the icons in one folder instead of groups
click administrative toosl
click event viewier

What extension do Windows error log files end in?

errrrrr not 100% sure

possibly .log

but knowing microsoft they are stored in another kind of file
