Just wondering how you guys keep track of all your domains? For instance, I see many people with portfolios running into the hundreds and domains from different registrars.

Is there a 'standard' tool that people use?

See Ealfert's post. Or better still, ask David :)

I use the excel type of function with Google drive spreadsheet, I maintain 2 types of files One as a portfolio which is categorized according to the TLD. Another file with the registration charges and other expense and income much like a balance sheet. Since drive is cloud based I can access them from anywhere and its quite easy to update through any devices.

Excel, sorted by expiration date; and row color coded. No need for a complicated web app for eMail alerts.

Greens are good, orange needs renewal, red are considered being dropped.

I add domains to the sheets as I acquire them, and thats it.

I have an excel spreadsheet which I customized to my needs. There are some services out there to keep track of your names and show detailed metrics
