How can I make this work? (Frame question)

I want to make it so when you click on a sample to the right, a preview will come up in the box to the right. i tried to do it, but it keeps opening up in a different browser. i already have both frames in place though. (not iframes). anyways, here's the site: http://www.angelfire.com/oh5/graphdesignmark/test.htm

give the frame a name:

<frame name="somename">...</frame>

then target the frame with the link:

<a href="url" target="somename">Link Text</a>

using the html i have, how do i set the frames position? it has to be absolute just like the current frames so it can go on top of the main picture.

You might be better off using javascript to just change an image there. That would be pretty easy, and there are tons of tutorials on doing this.
