We mean "Dorm" only "dorm" when we say "hostel" in India.

Remember : Gay = Happy

Reg fee! Even not a good type!

It's not a TYPO - wake up! It's a commonly used term among backpackers, students, and those which are looking for a cheap accommodation.

US ovt:
43862 hostel
37877 europe hostel
21603 germany hostel
9890 youth hostel
5170 italy hostel
3782 london hostel
3423 new york hostel
3135 hostel international
2832 paris hostel

UK ovt:
6237 youth hostel
5774 hostel
3610 ibiza hostel
3441 london hostel
2121 youth hostel association
1828 amsterdam hostel
1277 barcelona hostel
1180 paris hostel
1168 dublin hostel
1128 hostel in london

Even non-english speaking countries use the term as a NON typo. For instance:

OVT Italy:
872 hostel ibiza
812 ibiza hostel
638 hostel
378 dublin hostel
354 hostel dublin
346 youth hostel
233 hostel rome
202 hostel london

Would be interesting to see the INDIAN ovt scores, but I don't know of any place where to get indian stats for various keywords
