I have a pentium 3 computer 600 mhz and dial up (i know very slow combo)

I want to get a new comp and my parents said they would split half

I have 80 so far, but i need about 400

any ideas on how to make money?

do any of those survey fillout things actually work?

Buy and sell domain names and maybe start a hosting company.
I have two laptops due to buying and selling domains, though I am giving one of them to my little brother for his birthday next month. (they actually are not great laptops.... very old. )
Surveys don't work unless you take the time to find a good site :)

Perhaps, you can consult with venture capitalists, or "angel investors?" If you need to raise funds quickly, just ask for donations from friends, associates, etc.

Here is one option...
You could continue posting like the way you have been for the past 1.5 months and accrue NP's. Then, when you have a fair amount you could sell them for "real" money and make your dream a reality.

best ways to raise some funds as other things like selling domains and hosting require capital and take time to research and learn what you are doing..

Honestly as harsh as it may be. Get a "real" job. I work part-time at a Movie Theatre and make more in a Day then I do in a week online. Given working online is much more enjoyable for me, but when it comes time to pay the bills, my "real world" job, is what covers them.

Get a job at McDonald's for now (it'll build up your experience, as well). Your local mall probably has one of those survey places where they pay you for taking surveys, and as far as I know, it's $3 per survey (but they're long). The surveys are a waste of time, honestly. Save up for a car rather than a computer.

Well, I don't think any venture capitalists will help you if you call them that!

A good (but very sloooooooooow) way to make money is to start a few interesting sites. But it takes time and (some) initial investment.

Anyway, whatever you do, try to keep it legal.

Buy domains with your current NP$ at the auctions, develop a website to go along with it (increasing it's value), get it placed on search engines with a steady flow of traffic, and auction it off on eBay or elsewhere for money.

Just a thought. :D

if you want money online....youre talking about a slow process,
you have to learn from your mistakes and test different things always. what works for one wont work for all.

your best bet is to get a weekend job or mow lawns...they are guaranteed money makers. the net can get you rich but there is absolutely no way to just come on one day and say you'll make money. takes either time or very very good luck.
