Hi Guys,

Just joined the forum so thought I'd pop in to say hi. Made the first few newbie mistakes - posted my first question on the wrong message board and then figured out how to do what I asked about an hour after - D'oh!!

I work in the public sector in the UK and specialise in database development and web design. Finally got my mits on Studio MX2004 and am getting to grips with the inner workings of DreamWeaverMX.

Can anyone recommend a newbie book for FlashMX2004? There are soooo many out there and I don't want to waste my time and money.

Welcome Rusty! Don't worry about your newbie mistakes, everyone was a newbie at one time or another and can't learn from your mistakes if you don't make any. I'm glad you joined us here and hope you can contribute with your knowledge. It sounds like you have a very nice job and are well educated!

Can't recommend a specific title for you but it is generally hard to go wrong with O'Reilly, and I like reading the reviews at Amazon.
