Just registered hemphouses - hemp is very good for making ecological energy efficient houses and is increasing in popularity -

Any opinions on the name ? Greenhouse com was sold for 500K US !

There is a huge and I mean a massive difference between a true two word generic like GreenHouse which everyone recognises for what it is and HempHouses.

Even HempHouse.com I would say was pretty much worthless, the 's' on the end of this name doesn't even make it worthwhile considering.

Who is there anywhere that would be familiar with the term HempHouses?

For this reason, I would value this name at $0.

I was not really being serious with my comment about greenhouse.com but hemp is increasingly being used as a building material due to its high insulation and fuel efficiency. There is a program on UK TV tomorrow which will talk about the subject of building houses using hemp, which is why I bought the name. I may have got carried a way a little bit in my enthusiasm but maybe not, so I also registered hempbricks.com - I have 5 days to decide whether to hang on to them. I'm familiar enough with the benefits of hemp, in fact this second name you bought, in complete contradiction to my thread elsewhere here, saying, No More Appraisals From Me, your reply, I could not resist answering.

HempBricks.com I think is a great name, really good, I love it. Has excellent potential. Develop that one for sure. And feel welcome to contact me anytime if you are considering buying more Hemp product names and I'll happily advise you.

I stand firm on the first valuation I gave you, cannot see much there, I could be wrong though. If your in your 5 day testing period, park it quick, see what traffic it receives, if it's any good keep it and develop also, if nothing, let it go and buy another better hemp name if this is the chosen niche you are going for.

HempBricks that's a beauty. Looking forward to seeing what you do with that. Please let me know how it goes.

Difficult to appraise as the eco sustainable building sector of industry at this earth building level isn't exactly as flush with the old cash as some industry sectors, nevertheless, minimum $500.

Have you also looked at names involving strawbale building, cob building, yurts etc? Not saying you should register those names, I'm just interested to know where your interest is.

Thanks for info. Mark. I knew practically nothing about hemp until I heard it mentioned on TV today and they said it is being used as a building material, so I did a quick search and saw that the dotcom was available for hemphouses and later hempbricks and decided to take the plunge. At the moment I have parked them with 2 different cos. Unfortunately I know nothing about developing either so they may well remain parked for quite a while to come. Although I guess I could start a blog.
I don't know anything about strawbales etc... other than what I've seen on TV. My interests are eclectic, I tend to know a little bit about a lot of stuff but not enough about most stuff, such as website developing and domain name trading ! Do you have an interest in hemp or alternative technologies? Vic
