Question on Employment/Recruitment


I just wanted some advice from NP'ers in the US. Is the word Recruitment a popular term for job and employment, or is Employment the major word. I am looking at buying a couple of .coms with the word recruitment and wasnt sure how popular the word is in the US.


Any advice is appreciated.

it has only 300 searches according to wordtracker for recruitment while employment has 6920 searches.
yeah i know im not from U.S. just trying to help can't resist.

Well, the terms mean different things. Employment basically means your job or profession. The term Recruitment means to find new people to join an organization.

The are both popular words, but Employment is a better job related term IMO.

sounds like employment-domains will probably be more expensive than recruitment domains. you also have to factory in efficiency when weighing these domains. price is as big of a factor as the value of the keyword

I just mean a name like NewYorkEmployment.com versus NewYorkRecruitment.com - they will be the same price to register
