Please help me choose. Which one is the more attractive, corporate-looking logo for Escrow.name - logo#1 or logo#2?

The logos are here - Escrow.name

Thanks for your input, friends!

The second one is better... the first's circle could be confusing to people.

I prefer 2nd.
It looks more "serious". ;)

Well, they both LOOK alright, but why do they look they way they do? What's the thought(s) behind it, what's the concept? How do they illustrate the domain name 'Escrow.name' (GREAT name, btw!) and/or the Escrow process?

Best,
Rob

#1 - the logo elements imply money moving across a window, thru which the escrow company's 'eye' observes the transaction; color=gold=money

#2 - the logo elements illustrate the escrow process, where goods are exchanged betwen two parties, with the company acting as a trusted middleman. colors = orange-gold (money) and reddish-brown (stability, simplicity). additionally, the graphic elements (when combined) are positioned to look like the number 8, which is my lucky number, and denotes 'prosperity' in chinese. :D

It looks like the overwhelming choice is logo#2, so I'll work with that. Thank you all for your kind words and helpful input. :great:
