My name is Sarah and I am new to domaining. I've purchased several domain names through the years for different projects, but I've never sold one before! I found this group during my research about the new .art domains and I have been reading the forums nonstop since then.

I have a few questions???

What is hand reg? Is it still a hand reg if the domain name has a history, but it was available for regular price on godaddy? everyone says not to hand reg, so I want to know exactly what that is.

If you can register it at basic registration fee by typing it into registrar, it is a hand reg.

You can hand reg domains and be successful, but I wouldn't do it without at least 6 months experience in domaining. Stick to auctions, this is where to better quality domains are.
