Try debugging. Add this at the end:

if (mysql_affected_rows > 0) {
echo "IT WORKED!";
}
else
{
echo "IT DIDN'T WORK!";
}

If "IT WORKS" appeared, it means it's pulling something from the database. If "IT DIDN'T WORK" appeared, that means you have a syntax error in your SQL, you're searching from an empty table, etc.

yea...its coming up as IT DIDNT WORK

Yeah, then you need to check your SQL query as it seems nothing is being returned in the query.

I tried taking it out piece by piece but it still seems fine
