I wasn't thinking it was the word "gauge", I was more interested in the fact that there's been a decent sale with guage.org for $1,800 and its got pretty decent search volume.

It's not a typo actually, its a common first and last name. Just type Guage into Linkedin.
Seeing as someone purchased gauge.org for $1,800 your statement makes no sense that its not worth a cent..
