Wow...that would be a great domain to have because it has so many possibilities. With five days left I bet it gets near $75,000 or so.

I have been trying to sell of some of my names using eBay lately, and to be honest, it is the only place where I get any interest... Having said that, I am not selling any really premium names like this one...

One thing I do notice is a real increase in traffic and clicks on parked pages when I have them up for auction, it is a great way to get some extra traffic, more than covers the listing fee...

Also, the fees are much lower than selling on Afternic or Sedo, so if you get close to what you want for a domain like this it must be worth it... I say this one is worth $100k

That is a good question gazzip. I think that a more specialized site like SEDO may be a better market for such a high-quality domain as this. Also, which fee's would be more? I think E-Bay is like 9% when an item sells for over $1,000. I think SEDO is 10% so they are pretty close.

It does have some interesting uses..... Will Smith home page, Wills and other legal documents, etc.

I would of thought you would have to do loads of advertising previously to get enough people who have big bucks there to bid. Or maybe they just do it so it gets talked about in all the domain forums probably

its not as easy as it sounds... ebay sometimes(most of the time) can be a pure rip-off especially when you set a reserve price.

Let say you set 1k reserve price and the item not sold, you'll be charged kinda 10% of your reserve price (i am not sure about the %,pls don't quote me for the %).
When the item sold, then the charge will be refunded.

Once i listed a name with a reserve price, at the end of the auction i was invoiced GBP 100+ when the auction was over without a winning bid.


IMHO.. the best place to sell your name for 100000% profit is in drop auction.... BUT Unfortunately they don't list private domains.....

This guy is nuts if he doesn't have reserve set to at least $125k for that domain.

It seems interesting that there isn't a longer description, user's ids are kept private, the seller doesn't have much feedback, and the seller doesn't have many recent sales. It appears the auction is legit though because if you go to www.will.com, it has a link to the ebay auction.

nice to see some good domains to be sold at ebay. Most of the million names there are not worth the time to sort through though.
