I was inspired by gahooyoogle.com, which lets you search yahoo and google at the same time, so what I did is make a site that lets you search for something on: Google, Yahoo, Lycos, Ask Jeeves, MSN and Alta Vista.
Would you use a service that does this? A working example will be up at search.yarrt.com in a few mins, but the concept what do you think of it?

I use www.dogpile.com often for multiple search engines.

It's called a meta search engine. Check out http://www.metacrawler.com/ for example.

Personally i think i can do with less search results that more. You would be getting twice the results but more of irrelevant junk.

Doesn't seem to be working quite yet.

BUT, I think this idea could fly especially for webmasters. You can look for you site in the major SE's all at once and see who's ahead of you.
